"As much a pain to pull out as it is to take in."

The majority of these songs were written (or originated) during a flurry of inspiration over a couple months in mid-2001. The final track, "Wasted All Day", is from 1997.

Rock of the classic variety is what got me into playing and it still has a place in my heart, however, it's not quite the quintessence of my musical instincts.

That brief obsession with "rocking out" was enough for me to come up with 10 songs, 8 of which are found on this album. The other 2 were recorded during the same session and will be included in the final Vesan release, an outtakes album called CUT.

I would love to have a more-qualified group to have a go at any of these tunes, as I feel at least a few of them could be truly awesome, if performed by the right singers and players.

Just about all of VESAN was written from ages 15-22 (circa 1995-2001).
